The CambridgeSide Galleria is an indoor mall located in Cambridge, Massachusetts that boasts over 120 stores. Home to both local and international merchants, the CambridgeSide Galleria is also host to retailers such as Macy’s, the Apple Store, and Arden B.
This shopping venue is the perfect place to go when the weather isn’t the best because of its amazing accessibility to public transportation and its indoor facility.
In addition to 120 merchants, the CambridgeSide Galleria also has 13 vendors in its food court, including popular restaurants such as Chipotle Mexican Grill, Dunkin’ Donuts, and Shotcakes (ice cream cupcakes!).
There are also three full-scale restaurants: The Cheesecake Factory, P.F. Changs Asian Bistro, and California Pizza Kitchen.
The shopping center first opened its doors in 1990 as an outgrowth of the East Cambridge Riverfront Plan. There are three floors in the building.
Directions to the Galleria
The CambridgeSide Galleria is accessible by the green line on the MBTA. It is located by Lechmere Station or on a free shuttle bus from Kendall Station, off of the green line and red line respectively.
CambridgeSide Galleria Parking
If you are driving, you can access the Galleria via 93 or Memorial Drive. There are two parking garages at the center; however, both cost a minimal fee.
The CambridgeSide Galleria is proud to be a green initiative shopping space. This means that it is implementing new green facilities and spaces as soon as it can. In 2012 the indoor shopping center recycled over 29 tons of paper, plastic, and glass, as well as installed new recycling services and added bike racks, daily water maintenance, and light pollution reduction.
