Peruse the links to your left for the best shopping there is in Massachusetts. Editor-in-Chief Erinn recommends the CambridgeSide Galleria. She says:
“It’s a big Simon mall, so you know it’s going to have some great shops. Women’s apparel, men’s apparel, a giant food court, and a Cheesecake Factory. Anything with a Cheesecake Factory is going to be good.” Another great part about the CambridgeSide Galleria? It’s got a glass elevator. Yup, and you can ride it. All About Harvard Square
Of course, there are great outdoor spaces too, like Harvard Square, complete with shopping for all kinds and needs. We love Harvard Square for its charm and appeal. When you walk around Harvard Square, you know you are walking in the footsteps of many Cambridge greats, like Ben Franklin, Mark Zuckerberg, and Barack Obama.
Harvard Square has its own Cambridge charm because of the street performers and buskers. It’s pretty common to see someone playing the sax or rockin’ it out on a sunny summer day, and you might even see a Shakespearean play happen for free.
Cambridge Shopping: Bookstores!
Sadly, Boston no longer has any notable bookstores, unless you count the Barnes & Noble at the Prudential. However, Cambridge has many bookstores, making it an even better place for Cambridge shopping.
Did you know? According to Amazon in 2014, Cambridge was the No. 8 most well-read city in America.
