About the Cambridge Public Library, Children’s Room
The Cambridge Public Library is a great place for children of all ages. Located in the heart of Cambridge, right next to its own beautiful park, the Cambridge Public Library offers parents a great place to bring their children on any day for education and culture in a fun environment.
The Children’s Reading room, sitting right in the treetops and looking out over the park and the surrounding Cambridge area, offers a wide variety of materials for children, including books, magazines, music, audiobooks, videos, and games.
They also offer various children’s programs, such as story time for toddlers and preschoolers, music programs and sing-alongs for infants, and book discussion groups for both parents and children.
The Teen Room
The Teen Room at the library offers a space for young adults 12-18 to read, grow, and learn in a low-and-high tech environment.
The Teen Room offers a wide range of books, music, movies, and programs geared towards teens, including Do-It-Yourself programs, afternoon movie screenings, and a Teen Advisory Board, where local teens can have a say in the content of the programs at the library.
Cambridge Public Library Hours
The Children’s Room at the Cambridge Public Library is open from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Thursday, and from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday and Saturday. The Teen Room is open from 12 p.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Thursday, from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Friday, and from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday. Both are closed on Sundays.
