Ultimate Frisbee Club (LUUFC)

Lesley University Ultimate Frisbee Club (LUUFC)

Lesley University‘s Ultimate Frisbee Club (LUUFC) came together out of a mutual love for exercise, the outdoors, team-building, and–of course–frisbee!

LUUFC provides a great opportunity for students of any class standing, from the College of Art and Design or the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences, to get together and have fun.  Athletes and non-athletes are welcome and encouraged to join.

Although the members of LUUFC seek to improve their frisbee prowess, it is worth noting that it is a club rather than a team.  This is in an effort to emphasize LUUFC’s interest in bonding and having fun, rather than competing and getting stressed out.

Ultimate Frisbee has been on the rise over the past decade, gaining interest in high schools and colleges across the country.  Lesley’s team, Illusion, is founded on the same vision: a great balance between organized sports and recreational play.

Illusion plays games against other local frisbee teams, such as that of Berklee College of Music.  They practice on Lesley University’s Brattle campus, and also occasionally participate in tournaments.
