About Khan Academy

Sal Khan began Khan Academy in 2006. Sal was tutoring his cousin in mathematics and decided that it would be a good idea to make video tutorials and post them on YouTube.

From there,  the venture spurred into the Khan Academy, an 80-person team producing video tutorials on many different subjects.

Millions of people around the globe are using Khan Academy’s services to continue and supplement their every day education. Their video lessons are translated into over 40 languages, making it very accessible to a variety of learners.
