About the Kirkland Tap and Trotter
The Kirkland Tap and Trotter, modeled after some of the best gastropubs in England, is located right around the corner from Julia Child’s house.
The head chef considers the restaurant “an every night of the week” kind of place, because the environment is welcoming any time you stop by.
The Tap and Trotter is made up of exposed brick walls and old ceiling beams, and can seat 115 guests as well as a 12 seat bar. The room is centered around a large wood-fired grill that brings it all together.
House-made spaghetti, fire roasted chicken, and a grilled grass fed hamburger all make an appearance on the menu, just as they might on your kitchen table, but with savory spices and sauces that make these dishes unique.
The Kirkland Tap and Trotter is “a place with soul,” and it’s highly doubtful that you’ll disagree.
There is no parking lot at the Kirkland, however there is plenty of street parking in the area!
