If you are missing the hippie movement lately (or are feeling out of place in modern culture), have no fear. Your suffering is over.
Enter Beat Brasserie, formerly known as the Beat Hotel, located in Harvard Square. The restaurant prides itself on being inspired by the hippie and beat movements of the mid-20th century.
Inside Beat Brasserie: Menu
The restaurant offers both vegetarian and non-vegetarian options.
Options include their earth bowl and eggplant zucchini Parmesan for the vegetarians. Their swordfish tacos and apple and bacon stuffed pork are for the meat eaters.
Inside Beat Brasserie: Location
Inside the restaurant, you’ll notice the entire space was designed by local artists. From its colorful murals to the exotic drapery to the wonderful chairs and tables, it’s all a true display of local talent.
The establishment has a 360 person capacity and features live music every night on their performance stage. It’s certainly one of our favorite places to be in Cambridge.
There are two bars located within the restaurant as well.
