About the review

The review was originally founded in the eighties as a quarterly periodical titled Erato. Initially, it was supposed to discuss events within the Poetry Room as well as events pertinent to the literary community.

Three years later, in 1989, the review underwent a major overhaul and name change. Today, the journal is a perfect-bound literary masterpiece of over 20 pages, focused on a variety of different authors and styles.

Previous authors include Joyce Carol Oates, Arthur Miller, Seamus Heaney, Jorie Graham, John Updike, Josh Ashberry, Gore Vidal, and Sharon Olds.

According to one Amazon.com review:

“I’m reading this bi-yearly periodical and it’s wonderful. it really makes you ponder and think about life. The play in there was satirical and funny, yet very macabre. The poetry is beautiful. Fantastic short stories. I highly recommend it.”
