Educational videos are taking the internet by storm. Self-guided, easy to access, and often free of charge, here are some of our favorite websites that provide tons of useful information with just the click of a mouse.
MIT Open CourseWare
This site, provided by MIT in Cambridge, offers online courses in nearly every subject taught on campus. You can take courses in everything, ranging from physics to film to beginner’s French, and the site includes access to a vast digital library of recorded lectures. Did we mention that these resources are also completely free of charge?
Open Yale Courses
Every lecture provided on this website, constructed by Yale University, was recorded in the Yale College classroom. Feel like part of the class as Professor Langdon Hammer talks about Modern Poetry, or Professor J. Michael McBride provides the latest on Organic Chemistry. While you don’t receive any college credit for taking these courses, the information you could gain is is worth learning.
Lynda.com hosts thousands of video tutorials that teach online learners about a variety of new software programs that make learning, working, and being creative easy as 1-2-3.
