Swings aren’t just for children anymore at the Lawn on D. People of all ages are invited to rediscover their inner child on vibrant, colorful swings.
The Lawn on D is an experimental outdoor interactive space. It is the first of its kind in Boston. Located on D Street, next to the Boston Convention & Exhibition Center, this iconic 2.7-acre area provides fun for all ages.
It has public hours where visitors can visit the swings, play games such as ping pong or cornhole, and visit the current art exhibits. They also hold events such as concerts, sports game viewings and more.
The space is owned and operated by the Massachusetts Convention Center Authority and designed by Sasaki Associates. The mission of the park is to foster public engagement and creativity. It will open until October 12, 2015, so visit while you can!
