Ah September; the month were the leaves begin to fall from the trees and the warm air turns chilly in the evenings. Fall is on its way which means hot chocolate and sweaters, candy and costumes with boots and colorful leaves.
But before I get ahead of myself I have to remember that summer is still here. Even though it is September, the nights can still be warm and the sun is still hot enough to give people tans. With that in mind, I present to you September events in Cambridge.
Campfire. Festival at Passim
47 Palmer Street, Cambridge
Friday, September 4th to Monday, September 7th beginning at 6:00pm
Daily pass: $10, weekend pass: $25
In my own opinion campfires are good for any time of the year; I mean s’mores are always a welcome treat. One of the September events in Cambridge happening at the beginning of the month is the campfire. music festival!
It all started as a way to fill a bad booking weekend in 1998, but over the past 10 years the campfire. festival has become the biggest way that Passim develops new talent and celebrates the Boston areas awesome music scene!
The festival has combined the idea of artists sitting around a campfire playing music with Passims commitment on bringing new talent to the table. The campfire. festival blurs the line between performers and audience. With performers watching other performers and audience members becoming performers, this music festival is a fun way to welcome September!
