About Taste of Cambridge
An annual festival for foodies
Berry-topped tarts, exotic smoky-flavored honey, Italian-spiced meatballs, and locally crafted brews. Is your mouth watering yet?
If you’re looking for a culinary collection of the masters, head over to Cambridge’s annual Taste of Cambridge.
This local food festival celebrates the neighborhood’s restaurant community with a day of tasting decadent desserts, savory bites, and thirst-quenching drinks.
Past restaurant participants have included local favorites like:
Sweets lovers can expect to satisfy their cravings with the creations of shops like the Flour Bakery, the Boston Brownie Company, and J.P. Lick’s ice creamery. (And at J.P. Lick’s, be sure to indulge in their coffee-flavored options as they roast the beans and infuse the cream themselves in Jamaica Plain.)
Music at the Taste of Cambridge
As food lovers browsing the tables, you can also pamper your ears with the musical artists that the Taste of Cambridge brings in each year.
D.J.s and live bands liven the outdoor summer Cambridge venue as people enjoy the beer and wine gardens, café seating, and visiting patrons.
Family-friendly, the event offers tickets to children so they can treat their young taste buds while enjoying an afternoon of fun.
Adults can either purchase regular or VIP admission tickets. Each gains you access to a different range of food and drink options at the annual event.
The Cambridge Licensee Advisory Board (CLAB) hosts the event and sends proceeds to support several local charities.
It also helps the CLAB’s overall effort to prevent underage drinking and promote educating holders of liquor licenses with regards to stopping sales to minors.
Past beneficiaries have included the Faith Kitchen, the Cambridge Housing Assistance Fund, and Food for Free.
The Taste of Cambridge event usually takes place annually in June or July, and at a location determined each year by the CLAB.
